Our Ethos

Commercial mass tourism breaks the relationship between traveler and landscape.

We run small-group expeditions capped at eight guests. No motorcoaches, no loudspeaker tours, and no manufactured itineraries.

Emergency shelter links

Supplies and lodging are sourced directly from family-run farmsteads and remote mountain refuges along the line.

Field leaders maintain direct communication lines with local rescue coordinators and maintain cache stations at high passes.

Every route requires two full seasons of independent foot travel before opening to guest parties, ensuring sustainable access.

Field Journal

High-pass seasonal snowmelt alters the lower moraine route faster than any map can record. We adjust the pace, read the slate scree, and let the landscape set the schedule.
